Time: 15 Minutes
The Brandy Alexander is a dessert drink: chocolaty, sweet, creamy and smooth as milkshake, which the alcohol taste is so light.
1 1/2 ounces brandy
1 ounce dark crème de cacao
1 ounce half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Fill a shaker halfway with ice cubes. Pour in the brandy, crème de cacao, and the half-and-half.
Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Sprinkle the grated nutmeg over the top.
Tip: grind a fresh, whole nutmeg over the top of the drink and it’ll have more flavour than ground nutmeg from a jar.
